The Lighthouse
Kick-Off your evening : with a spectacular sunset on the grounds of the most ancient lighthouse of Mauritius. Inaugurated in 1910, The Lighthouse of Pointe aux Caves (Albion), the emblem of Albion Village, rises up to 30 Meters. The spot offers a breathtaking view on the west coast and will instantly help you reconnect with nature. The Lighthouse is only 7 km from the Villas Albion, which is 15 mins by car.
Chamarel
Add 7 Coloured Earth to Your Experience : it is said that the different colours of the earth are caused by decomposed basalt gullies, turned into clay. Mix the colours together, you will be amazed to see that they will separate on their own. Definitely worth the try! We highly recommend that you rent a car to be able to roam around and discover the Must Do's on the island.
Artisanal Freshness
Albion Fish Landing Station, renovated in October 2017, is one of the sixty-one prescribed fish landing stations in Mauritius. All artisanal fishermen are legally bound to land their catches at the fish landing station. Therefore, early birds can buy fish and seafood as fresh as the morning dew, when local fishermen bring back their ocean’s treasures in the wee hours of the morning.

If you need vitamin sea :The Albion Club Med beach is naturally of a high class and offers great possibilities for either a quiet day out or an evening barbecue, or why not both! The beach is not too far from the villas and is easily accessible. Enjoy the clear, shallow waters and a good kilometer of fine white sand.
